Power & EMC seminar Würth Elektronik – University of Valencia

Last 18th May the School of Engineering (ETSE-UV) held the Seminar Power & EMC within the activities of the Würth Elektronik – EMC Cátedra, the collaboration between the company Würth Elektronik eiSos and the University of Valencia.

This seminar was organized by Würth Elektronik and was taught by Gopi Patel as a Field Applications Engineer, one of the most leading experts who has the company in this field. He has worked as a Senior Design Engineer in large number of important companies such as OMRON Automotive, ADT Fire & Security, DYSON Technology and ENOVATION Controls.

Over 35 attendees from the most important tech companies of Valencia and several Research Groups of the University of Valencia could receive information on several interesting topics such as:

  • Wireless Power Charging
  • Components Selection Software Tools
  • Inductor Selection Tips
  • DC/DC Topologies
  • SMPS Topologies

At the end of the seminar, the attendees visited the EMC Cátedra Laboratory located in the University of Valencia and they could knew the main lines of work that the researchers are carried out and the new WE rack model of EMC components.
